Self Judged Awards

So I took this idea from another blog, where the blogger had done these award nominations for different categories and awarded winners accordingly, who she felt were deserving. I thought why not try my very own? Let’s start up.

                              HOTTEST CHICK

                               Elisha Cuthbert

She’s hot, She’s sultry, she’s cute and she’s got that innocence about her that leaves you confused and dazzled. I’ve always been fascinated by her and how easily she can pull off whatever she wears. Classy, yet that hint of naughtiness to it, makes her a complete package. I’ll always love her 😀

                            RUNNERS UP

                      Christina Hendricks

She has a lot of fans. We know why (for obvious reasons) but she’s got this charm about her, combined with an aura that’s calming, graceful and explosive at the same time (If that’s even possible) Shows you why and how women who aren’t the skinniest can still look so stunning. To cap it off? her red hair and immaculate dressing sense. C’est magnificent.

MOST AWESOME PERSON

Neil Patrick Harris (As Barney Stinson)

Not a tough one there. If there’s someone AWESOME out there? It’s him. I know a lot of it is down to the show, but off set too, he’s an amazing person and really cool. Humble, yet funny as hell. The kind who leaves ladies drooling with his charm. Sadly, he’s gay. Which is a good in a way. Women all around the world, can breathe a sigh of relief (or on the contrary, be sad)

Either ways, you can’t ignore his awesomeness. If you don’t know anything about it? Go watch How I Met Your Mother, NOW!

                                       RUNNERS UP

Robert Downey Jr.  (As Tony Stark)

Wasn’t a RD Jr. fan as such, but the Iron Man series changed it. Be it a combination of his character and his acting skills and charm. He made that role his own. If you’ve seen the movie, you’d know how we awesome he was in it and what more? We have Iron Man 3 coming out soon. More awesomeness on the cards 😀

     MOST KICKASS PERSON

                    Liam Neeson

My first ever Liam Neeson movie was Schindler’s list. Not badass at all, compared to what his other adventures have been like, but it was powerful. Definitely made me remember him. Then came Taken and I was taken aback (See what I did there? :P) with how cool he was in it. The Unknown, again on similiar grounds. He trained Batman, trained Obi Wan Kanobi in Star Wars and lead the A team. Handled wolves in The Grey and Ghosts in The Haunting. Taken 2 just carried on with how Taken was and he was still just as badass, just as cool. You don’t mess with Liam Neeson. Period.

                       MOST INNOCENT

                     Zooey Deschanel

I don’t know what it is about Zooey, but she always comes across SO innocent and sweet. Plus I’ve always seen her looking classy and cute at the same time. Definitely into my “adorable celebs” list and those eyes make you sit there and half drool, half sigh for hours. who needs a puppy face when you have eyes like that? 😀

More to come next time. I feel lazy now so I guess I’ll continue le awards later. Tell me your favourites, if any among these 😀 Have a nice week. Peace out!

The Week That Was

So to just recap on the week that went by and update as to what’s been happening to people who might wanna know and my friends who’d wanna read, I though I’d do an update post. It’s been an epic week.

Let’s start with the wedding I had to attend. This girl who lives down the street and I’ve grown up with her, somewhat. I recall playing with her when I was a child and she helped me with Maths too. Even though she’s like 7 years older than me, We did get along well. The Venue was outside and the place was pretty damn freezing. However the whole Vibe and atmosphere made you mellow into it and just enjoy the night. The food was amazing and the local singers that performed are pretty famous around here. I made sure I recorded all of that performance.

Add to that, My two favourite aunt’s came over and my cousin sister who’s just a year elder to me. We’ve practically grown up together and my mom and aunt often say we’re THE same. Just as lazy, we both sleep super late. Wake up super late. Love doing stupid things and we can watch shows online for hours, non stop. (Which we did, btw)

So anyways, ever since they came, It was a “go-out-and-enjoy” kinda routine. We’d go out to eat somewhere everyday. Places nearby that were good. Be it Super Donuts, This amazing coffee shop nearby, This amazing bakery, A place called the Chocolate room which is JUST dedicated to chocolate to name a few. Needless to say, we all ate a lot and we’d be out all day. My mom and aunt’s out shopping, while we go eat and drive around or just sit back and play monopoly.

While that was going on, my beloved Spurs, had about 3 games in the span of 7 days. Pretty hectic for the players, but guess what? we won ALL 3. Tough games at that too, including Liverpool. Now we’re Joint 3rd in the table and things are looking good. My new Gareth Bale Jersey that I’d ordered last month, came yesterday and it looks AMAZING. I was grinning all day and I might’ve worn it….a…few times (Okay, maybe all day)

Then we also attended my aunt’s anniversary bash, which again was super fun. I got to meet my other cousins and even though it wasn’t a huge party? It was homely and fun. All the cousins caught up and we talked a lot, just about everything and all the shows we watch, who likes which show and stuff like that. I barely had time to blog, let alone read people’s posts but I know I needed to update and now that they’ve finally left. I’m relatively free again. I might’ve put on a couple of kilos for sure, with the amount of food I was eating everyday and we’d stay up all night, watching Ghost Adventures, Scary movies online with the lights off and try to spook each other.

Can’t wait to meet them again. Oh and I love the snowflakes falling effect on here. Just thought I’d point that out. Anyways, have a nice week ahead 😉
